RL Therapy

My Approach
and Values

I appreciate that life can be busy and at times our mental wellbeing can be at the bottom of the priorities list. We often tend to manage difficulties ourselves with the hope that they may pass.

This can relate to issues around bereavement, relationship breakdowns, parental difficulties and work pressures. Loss in any way, whether that be identity or/and confidence. Traumatic events, early life experiences or a combination of issues.

It can be extremely easy to rely on coping strategies such as keeping busy, over-working, over eating, prescriptive drugs, alcohol or entering into new relationships, in order to distract or dilute our thoughts and emotions.

These can offer short term relief, however very quickly life may feel overwhelming, and we can all feel a little lost and “stuck” at times.

RL Therapy is proud to be registered under The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and therefore offers a safe, ethical and competent practice.
